Persons with Developmental Disabilities Waiver (DD)
Ages 18 and older
Allows adults (18 and older) with an intellectual or developmental disability to continue living in a community setting while accessing services and supports that are available 24-hours a day, seven days a week.
Qualifying for DD Medicaid Waiver services
- Must be 18 years old or older
- Require access to services and supports 24 hours a day
- Have been determined to have a developmental disability before the age of 22
- Have a disability as defined by the Social Security Administration (SSA)
- Meet financial determination requirements for long-term care Medicaid as determined by your local Department of Human Services (DHS)
